Description
The new 3D filament line with a true line speed for most common filament resins of up to 130 meter per minute, which is approximately double that of our previous lines. Despite its high speed, the line occupies much less floor space.
The following features are included in the line:
• Extruder, 30 mm diameter, 30 L/D, and capable of handling high output. The extruder has a hopper dryer, and the filament calibration screen is located next to the extruder controls, making it simple to adjust the extruder output.
• A zigzag calibration and tempering bath with three individual water baths and temperature controls. This new unit is very compact and saves space while processing at a very high line speed.
• New Haul Off unit with two sets of large rubber pulling rolls that have a high pulling force and are made of highly wear resistant rubber. The haul off unit also houses our 2-axis high precision filament measuring unit, which is linked to the touch screen near the extruder control panel.
• New horizontal accumulator with large filament storage that is more than enough for cassette changeover.
• New single station windup unit with pneumatic cassette gripping, allowing for very quick changeover to a new empty cassette. This unit also includes our new wind up system, which allows for very even spooling of most standard filaments when used side by side.
