Description
The VG 8000 is a collimated light type gloss meter based on “Specular gloss – Measurement method (JIS Z 8741) ” .
A single measuring instrument can arbitrarily select from 5 angles of 20˚ , 45˚ , 60˚ , 75˚ , and 85˚ , and the selected angles can be measured simultaneously .
In addition , since long-life white LEDs are used as the light source, no settling time is required, and running costs are significantly reduced .
This instrument is ideal for evaluating coatings , resins , metals , films , etc. Furthermore , it can also be changed to the TAPPI method 75 ° gloss method (JIS P 8142) .
